Practice-based Collaborative Quality Initiatives (CQIs) aim to improve care in outpatient and ambulatory settings by enabling practices to share data, benchmark performance, and adopt evidence-based best practices. Participating practices submit claims, clinical, and registry data, which are analyzed centrally to identify variation, measure outcomes, and provide feedback for quality improvement. - Michigan Oncology Quality Consortium (MOQC) — a practice-based CQI that partners with outpatient oncology clinics to enhance the quality, safety, and efficiency of cancer care across Michigan. MOQC focuses on evidence-based treatments, reducing variation in care, and improving outcomes for patients receiving medical and gynecologic oncology services.

- Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaborative (MUSIC) — a statewide, physician-led CQI dedicated to improving urologic care. MUSIC works with practices and hospitals across Michigan to collect and analyze clinical data, promoting evidence-based care, reducing variation, and enhancing patient outcomes for conditions such as prostate cancer, kidney stones, and small renal masses.
